(CAN) Senior Manager, Digital Performance Marketing

The Senior Manager, Digital Performance Marketing will be accountable for driving digital marketing ROI for various digital marketing channels such as Paid Search, Social, Display, Programmatic and Affiliates. The scope of this role entails an intimate knowledge of paid search platforms, ecosystems and capabilities, ad-serving technologies, affiliate technology platforms, DSPs, site direct buys, mobile, video and emerging inventory sources, as well as experience managing direct reports.
With day-to-day responsibility for the eCommerce performance marketing budget and driving traffic to the Walmart Canada eCommerce site, this role will lead an internal team of digital performance marketers, along with external agency partners, to optimize the customer journey from the first interaction to the final sales conversation across all paid, with consideration of owned and earned, digital marketing channels and platforms.
This position requires a deep understanding of the evolving MarTech/AdTech landscape and in-house marketing experience is a plus.
What you'll do...
Demonstrate day-to-day leadership for all paid digital marketing channels, leading a cross-functional team of subject matter experts (internal + agency partners) to deliver highly optimized digital marketing programs, and achieve aggressive annual targets. As part of this, deliver detailed and actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and provide interpretation and guidance to drive business performance.
Manage the digital marketing budgets, ensures budget pacing and exceptional execution to optimize KPI's across the channels to maximize ROI of each marketing dollar spent, leveraging owned media, targeting and other tactics to drive efficiencies.
Partner with Customer Marketing/WMG, Creative and Brand, Marketing Operations, Consumer Insights, and eCommerce Merchandising and Site Teams to deliver on aggressive sales goals and digital sales objectives for Walmart Canada lines of business.
Provide ongoing insights to performance, reporting of results, inputs for annual marketing plans, demonstrating YoY growth, performance relative to targets and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape, providing thought leadership and direction to continually improve knowledge and skills, communicate new ideas and trends, and ensure digital marketing programs are best-in-class and industry leading.
Ability to understand customer buying behaviors, segmentation and profiling. Identify new sources of customer acquisition and profit via new partners new strategies and emerging channels.
