About This Role


Zoom is looking for Majors Account Executives to sell our Zoom One Platform. Our Majors AE's engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Zoom platform. You’ll build positive, trusted relationships with C-Suite decision makers and help customers realize the value of their investments. Our Majors sales team focuses on the top strategic named accounts in a defined geographic territory.

About the Role

  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C-Level and VP -Level Executives to address business needs
  • Create, deliver, and manage client demos/ presentations, quotes/ proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Utilize solution-selling and value-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
  • Hunt into new accounts, develop and maintain business within existing accounts and manage complex sales situations and large projects
  • Upsell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships
  • Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities

Basic Skill Requirements

  • 5+ years of Account Executive experience in a Technology company 
  • Closing experience with a history of meeting sales quotas
  • Business forecasting, pipeline development and management skills experience
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool 
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Skill Requirements

  • 8+ years of Account Executive experience in a Technology company 
  • Direct SaaS/Cloud/Platform selling experience 
  • Inbound and Outbound sales experience with company sizes of 1,000 - 10,000 employees
  • SaaS video or web conferencing solutions selling experience
  • Salesforce CRM experience 
  • Knowledge of solutions selling techniques
