Our team is growing and we are looking for an exceptional Lead technical architect. This lead will help the engineering team further improve on the agile delivery model, dev ops frameworks and deployment operations including transforming monolithic applications to microservices and microapps thereby helping the Online BU modernize their eCommerce platforms. 

The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with business stakeholders/product managers to enable and transform eCommerce, Billing, and Payment capabilities by collaborating with globally dispersed engineering teams. This role requires someone who can flex between being strategic, leading and coaching a team, and rolling up their sleeves to ensure successful and efficient execution. 

About the Role 

Partner with product & engineering managers, solution architects, and business system analysts on the Online eCommerce strategy & roadmap 

Take full responsibility for the technical architecture of complex solutions by ensuring consistency and adherence to Zoom standards

Influence and champion more productive and efficient engineering design and delivery, including microservices, micro apps driving agile engineering releases and CI/CD processes

Collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners such as payment processors(Stripe, Adyen etc.,) to build end-to-end solutions

Lead and mentor a team of highly motivated and talented front end and back end software developers 

Deep expertise in Java ,Spring Frameworks (Spring MVC and Spring Boot), JavaScript , HTML, CSS and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue 

Expertise with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, DynamoDB, Hbase, Redis or others

Experience in multithreading and concurrent data structures, parallel algorithms, and thread management for scalable solutions in a multi-clustered, highly available environment

Drive continuous improvements in the code development, code merge and deployment processes to bring efficiencies and productivity improvements across the team 

Familiar with Linux system and the use of application server Nginx and Tomcat and development toolkits like Gitlab, Jira and Jenkins

Experience building application platform solutions and integrations to support different software features and functions

Govern multi-repository applications across teams on Gitlab. Ensure secure integrations with third-party services/vendors

About You

Engineering / CS / MIS Degree (Bachelor's ; graduate degree a plus) and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.

8+ years of SaaS and eCommerce business models including in depth hands-on experience in front end and back end Java/Spring, Javascript/VueJs technologies and, NoSQL Databases and different HTTP, SOAP and REST APIs, applications servers and protocols

Experience in eCommerce, Billing, Payments, Subscriptions, Invoicing systems and integrations with middleware and enterprise systems like CRM, CPQ and ERP applications 

Highly positive, proactive and motivated individual that excels at execution by fostering trust and collaboration at all levels

Entrepreneurial mindset with a results driven approach. Thrives in a fast-paced start-up type environment.

Excels in articulating complex technology and designs to leadership and influencing win-win outcomes

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that enable strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$111,900.00Maximum:

$249,700.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
