The Leadership Development team owns Zillow’s enterprise wide leadership framework and related leadership programs, focused on developing Managers to lead effectively in Cloud HQ. Working cross-functionally with partners across the organization, this team drives clarity on how to lead at Zillow through the lens of our Leadership Blueprint and designs and deploys programs in alignment with our Manager Capabilities.About the role

The Manager of Leadership Development serves as the leadership development strategist by aligning leadership development programs with business needs for optimal performance. 

In partnership with the Leadership Development leader, develop and implement the strategic approach and roadmap for deploying enterprise wide Manager capabilities 

  • Project manage and lead initiatives for Manager Capabilities including: overseeing and managing the development and execution of capability development programs and learning experiences 
  • Gains alignment and collaboration with HR Business Partners & Business Stakeholders on initiatives or processes to execute leadership development initiatives with the needs of the business in mind
  • Motivate, lead, and develop a team of Program Managers, each of whom are responsible for assessing, designing, developing and implementing leadership development programs for levels of leaders (aspiring leaders, leaders of others/ICs, and leader of leaders).
  • Cultivate relationships with key partners and stakeholders; influence and listen deeply to understand organizational needs, opportunities, and strategies

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $102,400.00 - $163,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development/Leadership, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 5-7 years in Talent Management, Leadership Development or Organizational Development
  • A self starter with proven track record of creating, implementing, and maintaining enterprise wide leadership development programs
  • Exceptional program management skills; highly capable of handling contending priorities and multiple large-scale enterprise leadership programs
  • Experience with and solid understanding of competency modeling and implementing leadership frameworks
  • Genuinely passionate about people growth and empowering and developing leaders 
  • Compelling communicator who quickly makes sense of complex information
  • Proven experience with virtual curriculum development, facilitation, delivery methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to travel when needed (approximately 10%)
