As part of our HR team, you’ll play a critical role in partnering with our business leaders to design, develop and deploy strategy, processes, and programs we need to thrive. Our internships and entry-level roles will let you put your education into action supporting the evolution of our HR function, our strategic priorities, and our ways of working.
We have an exciting opportunity for a high performing intern supporting Workforce Planning & Talent Mobility that has a high interest in business, technology, and people. This is a full-time summer internship and will start in May. The position will be based in Scottsdale.Job Description:
o Business analysis and insight generation re: our current workforce – including size, composition, competency, performance, mobility/movement, etc.
o Collaboration with multiple stakeholders (e.g., finance, business operations, risk) to plan for possible future workforce scenarios, organizational needs and related talent strategies.
o Support the design and build-out of an enterprise wide Strategy Workforce Planning process: Implementation of a new global process/ architecture for PayPal, including headcount forecasting against budget, geo-location strategy for workforce, build plans based on skill taxonomy, organization design / spans / layers / titles.
o MBA student studying HR, engineering, math or statistics field
o Experience with competency & skill models
o Experience with building data models, and working with complex data sets
o Experience with workforce planning, scenario planning, and related processes and/or software
o Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
