Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with extensive automation testing experience on cloud platform to improve the quality of product on the cloud for Tencent overseas game studios.

As a Senior QA Engineer for CES (Cloud Enabled Studios) Multi-cloud Management Platform, you will work in the agile team, design the automation testing framework of the cloud services and desktop applications to improve existing product development processes, ensure products meet customer requirements with a focus on quality. You will be able to use cutting-edge technologies to resolve most challengeable requirements on mixed multi-cloud environments.

Based in Palo Alto, CA, this person will work closely with the global IT team, HQ teams

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation test
• 4+ years’ experience in working on major cloud platform like AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Skilled in any of the popular programming language like Java, Python, JS, Golang, SQL, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding and hands on experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in UI automation tool like selenium, LoadRunner, etc.
• Strong Knowledge in DevOps, CI/CD, Jira, Jenkins, Git
• Strong Knowledge in containerization technology like Docker, OCI, Kubernetes
• Knowledge in distributed system architecture
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher), Computer Science

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in OOD and design pattern
• Bilingual preferred (English, Chinese). Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adjust style to match different audiences.

The base pay range for this position in California is $114,000 to $228,800 per year.

Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
