Compliance and Security of Overseas IT focus on building a secured and compliant infrastructure to provide our game studios. Our team will partner with Cloud Center of Excellence, Cybersecurity Legal, Privacy office, and different Business Group to deliver the best cloud and on-premises solution.


We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our Compliance and Security family. This role will lead the design, delivery and integration of appropriate security monitors, defenses, countermeasures, and other security foundational capabilities to enable a robust and reliable secure by design cloud platform, as well as secure and compliant delivery of products and services for cloud-enabled solutions, products and services used by our internal and external organization.

This role will work closely with our internal IT and Tencent cloud product teams, as well as our game studios to design and build the best Cybersecurity solutions, including:

  • Assess cloud security risks with a focus on threat detection, security control enforcement, and incident response
  • Establish architecture design principles, lead and implement cloud infrastructure security best practices across different teams/engagements
  • Lead and implement the design for hybrid cloud solutions and be an integral part of the solution delivery
  • Partner closely with other delivery teams including cloud, infrastructure, and various HQ security teams
  • Establish and articulate best practice solution architectures, share with partner teams, reach agreement, and get approvals
  • Collaborate with game studios to analyze, recommend, and implement advanced/innovative cloud security solutions to their on-prem and cloud systems
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in secure cloud technology design, development, and implementation in support of cloud products/solutions, and business functionality enablement
  • Assist in developing security and cyber risk management strategies, roadmaps, and project portfolio plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies

Requirements

 

  • 10 or more years of relevant technical and business experience working in roles such as: Security Architect, Enterprise Architect, Cloud Architect, Solution Architecture, Security Engineer, Technical Team Lead
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in enterprise and cloud networks specific to security
  • Comprehensive understanding and proven administration of security technologies associated with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud/Tencent Cloud/Alibaba Cloud type providers and related architectures
  • Experience with cloud containers and/or Kubernetes
  • Cloud security knowledge in the areas of CSPM, CWPP, SIEM, CNAPP and/or Vulnerability Management
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of engineering, computer science or equivalent advance technology field of study
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and engineers, within a diverse, global, cross-functional team
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English preferred
  • Experience with gaming industry is a plus
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus
  • The base pay range for this position in California is $125,400 to $229,900 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
