We build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning our apps, website, and voice-forward engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa to support our customer base.

As a member of the Amazon Recommendations Team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers are engaged with recommendations across Amazon’s websites. You will immerse yourself in a world where one works on classifying different forms of products, and create interactive experiences to help users find the products they are in the mood for. One will work on machine learning problems for product classification, recommender systems and information retrieval. You will improve algorithms to pick the perfect products and build infinitely scalable data stores to help drive the experience.
