Responsibilities:

Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan for region in support of segment objectives

Expand customer base by coaching account executives; building and maintaining executive relationships with key customers; and working directly with reports on key new prospect opportunities

Meet quota responsibility for region

Roll up individual forecasts to regional commitment

Work with direct reports on defining and executing regional and individual territory sales plans

Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast using Salesforce and other tools

Effectively and efficiently engage Higher Education Executives and resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle if needed to grow and advance the sale

Responsible for hiring and managing direct reports as needed


Qualifications:

10+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 7+ years sales management experience

3-5 years experience selling into Higher Education

Knowledge of complex, multi-vendor selling cycles

Must have proven Solution Selling experience

Demonstrated team management responsibilities including quota ownership for direct reports
