About you:

We are seeking an EVP and General Manager with ambition, experience and passion to lead the Automation and Integration pillar of Salesforce’s Next Generation Customer 360 Platform. This multi-billion dollar pillar is one of the fastest growing at Salesforce and includes MuleSoft, the world’s leading Automation, Integration and Full Lifecycle API Management platform, and Salesforce Flow Automation encompassing workflow, orchestration, RPA and data integration. It is an incredibly exciting time to be at Salesforce and we are on a mission to bring real-time, AI-driven intelligence and automation to every single touchpoint in the the customer lifecycle, empowering everyone to deliver incredible experiences and connect in a whole new way. We have spent the past several years organically building and acquiring the world’s leading technologies, from CDP to Integration to API Management to AI to Analytics, and are bringing them to life in our Next Generation C360 platform. As a member of the product executive leadership team, this leader will inspire their team to deliver ground breaking innovation, while partnering with our Sales and Marketing leaders to drive go-to-market strategy and the overall business growth for Salesforce.

You should:

  • Have a passion for Salesforce, our values, and especially the role Automation and Integration plays in our success
  • A strong sense of vision and ability to mobilize product and engineering teams to achieve market leadership and customer success; experience in leading product management organizations and/or engineering.
  • Have excellent command of the Automation, Workflow, Integration and UAPIM markets, their connection to CRM, and a solid understanding of the profound changes this market is undergoing
  • A demonstrated ability to inspire, align, and enable a large geographically dispersed team across all corporate functions in order to drive a successful business
  • Understand and believe in the unique characteristics of our approach to developer agility and low code / no code application development
  • Have a successful track record of working effectively in a highly matrixed and fast growing organization
  • Have a broad range of experience across sales, marketing, product management and engineering
  • Be someone who knows how to build and grow an outstanding leadership team and organization

As EVP and GM of Salesforce Automation and Integration, you will be the leader internally and externally of the product portfolio and be the key executive responsible for formulating and executing a growth oriented product and business strategy. You will drive the engine that is the secret behind the success of every Salesforce customer and be accountable for the continued product innovation, customer success and market leadership.


  • Lead a global, diverse product management team of over 100+ members responsible for defining and executing Salesforce’s Automation and Integration product strategy to be #1 in the market though innovation and product adoption
  • Partner with Peer GMs, Engineering and business leaders to ensure that the platform continues to support and differentiate our overall automation and integration strategy
  • Drive cross-functional cloud strategies where automation and integration are core to powering connected experiences
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure continued customer success, ACV, revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead the continued growth of the Salesforce ecosystem with continuing expansion of Salesforce technology in the marketplace and driving a deep connection with our Trailblazer community
  • Lead the marketing and AR and PR efforts to ensure Salesforce continues to be positioned as a visionary
  • Be the cross functional leader across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product management to ensure monthly and quarterly business execution excellence
  • Drive strategic product initiatives where applicable (i.e. M&A)


  • Minimum of 15 years experience leading a product platform, demonstrated leadership experience in an enterprise technology organization
  • Strong business acumen to drive business strategy for the portfolio
  • Strong marketing or sales experience, both in launching new products and increasing adoption and value delivered to the existing customer base
  • Proven market leader with track record in driving a billion dollar plus product business at scale
  • Must be an exceptional communicator and comfortable in presenting to both business and technical executives as well as broader audiences (e.g. keynotes, analyst and investor briefing, industry events)
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills. Has shown an ability to grow, develop, and retain top technical and product management talent. Has a deep understanding of development processes and methodologies, and has built or led a technology start up.
  • A track record of driving results within a matrixed business environment
  • A related technical degree required.
