Our marketing organization is hiring a Sr. Market Research Manager that will be responsible for generating insights that will help our team better understand and deliver value to our customers. The role requires a deep understanding of designing, planning, and conducting of qualitative and quantitative research. The Sr. Research Manager will also need to be familiar with the latest research design techniques, and be able to translate research output into action-driving recommendations.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage all phases of qualitative and quantitative research projects from problem definition to delivery of research assets and reporting of findings.

• Research agency management, including the ability to create strong research briefs for external research partners so that research produces desired insight outcomes.

• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data.

• Analysis of data from interviews, focus groups, questionnaires, or other qualitative or quantitative research to build compelling insights.

• Author executive level reports and make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

• Manage relationships and subscriptions with 3rd party research firms.

• Build relationships with a broad set of cross-functional Amazon business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define a research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery.

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Market Research, Economics, or Statistics).

• 7+ years of work experience in fields such as Market Research, Customer Insights, or Consulting.

• Experience in developing surveys with documented examples of work.


• Experience in B2B Market Research efforts for Technology or Ecommerce organizations.
