Description and Requirements

That is why we are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship and communication skills. The Channel Account Manager position will be responsible for growing Infrastructure Solutions revenue by acquiring new and maturing strategic Lenovo Business Partners. 

This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior-level engagements. They will also develop strategies for enhancing channel sales, as well as communicate and understand the Total Cost of Ownership and industry trends. The candidate must be able to position Lenovo's products and channel value proposition. Strong working knowledge of the VAR, Distribution & various channel strategies is preferred. 

Candidates must be based in the Northeastern US with preference given to New York metropolitan areas. 


Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a quote-carrying field sales role, preferably in the Data Center space 
  • 2+ years of experience working with channel partners

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills 
  • Demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements, concurrently. 
  • Candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach that is innovative, smart, passionate, and approachable. 
  • Channel sales experience is a plus. 


The base salary range for this position in New York City is $ 134,000 - $ 165,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
