Slack is looking for a technical program specialist to join our Success Services organization to support the implementation of Annual Programs. For this role, we’re looking for someone who is creative, collaborative, hard-working and tenacious. This specialist will work cross-functionally with both Enterprise customers and internally to design and implement annual programs to drive adoption, maturity, and ultimately business success with the Slack platform. 

In this role, you will be required to be an expert in Slack concepts, practices and procedures to guide the customer on how to tactically build and implement a program to manage and realize maximum value from their Slack instance. These programs will be aligned to the customer’s specific needs and based on a set of core pillars (learning, critical response, administrator services, developer services, and analytics)

What You Will Be Doing:

  • You’ll serve as a trusted advisor for Slack’s largest customers on technical concepts such as identity management, eDiscovery, data loss prevention,  third party integrations, and other enterprise SaaS concepts. 
  • You’ll work multi-functionally to develop business workflows automation and custom integrations on the Slack platform.  
  • You’ll build and deliver presentations to end user, administrator, technical and executive audiences on topics  including but not limited to: customer analytics, product roadmap, developing on Slack, and Slack 101.
  • You’ll make sense of raw data by building analytics reports and identifying key areas for increasing adoption and productivity gains for customers  
  • You’ll find opportunities to drive additional value for the customer within the framework of the existing program

What You Should Have:

  • You have 2+ years of technical consulting/project delivery experience or customer support, preferably within a SaaS organization
  • Superb communication skills, both with customers and within an organization
  • You are able to present and have discussions at the various levels and functions in an enterprise organization
  • You have a proven track record of resolving issues and risks in a multi-functional and collaborative way, as well as an attitude to always want to make things better
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, or Go.
  • Experience using SQL, and preferably Business Intelligence applications such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • You have experience in the Slack ecosystem and understand solution architecture for API based SaaS systems
  • You are a self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to improve internal processes and program delivery.
  • You’re confident, and you easily build relationships when working with your customers and internal partners
  • You’re naturally curious, love learning new things, and are proactive in sharing knowledge with others
  • You possess strong time-management skills which drive projects to completion
  • You exhibit diplomacy, tact, anda poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • You know when something is over your head and aren’t afraid to ask for help
