WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING OUR NEWEST INNOVATOR TO JOIN OUR DYNAMIC TEAM AS A SENIOR MANAGER, WEBOS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ON THE HE CONTENT INNOCATION TEAM!

POSITION SUMMARY:

This business development role is to advocate and integrate the webOS Expansion Platform with third party OEMs (Original equipment manufacturers) and brands. This position is responsible for developing the partnerships with third party device brands to support the webOS operating system that is managed by LG. The role includes establishing new smart device types for webOS in support of third party OEMs and brands. Manage overall webOS expansion platform third party partnerships. Negotiate and support third party OEMs and licensed brands requirements for adoption of webOS, including discussions on incentive funding opportunities or marketing development funding (MDF). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build sales strategy, pipeline, and close on TV brands adopting LG's webOS operating system. Role is required to perform prioritization, term sheets, contract negotiation, and ROI.  
  • Develop overall plan to address needs of third party brands and partners, in the following areas, but not limited to: marketing, incentive funding, and pricing lineup discussions.
  • Develop regular cadences with the third parties, listen and consider improvements and communicate for solutions.
  • Negotiate and support third party OEMs and licensed brands requirements for adoption of webOS
  • This role is a high-impact role and will take the lead in communication with enable LG to build successful partnerships with LG webOS integrations in TVs globally.
  • This role is managing communications from multiple potential and current TV brands, OEMs, sourcing teams. This input is used to improve the overall program and also improve each partnership.
  • This role is managing an innovative new business development area for LG, using all available tools to develop customized and successful relationships.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BACHELORS DEGREE IS REQUIRED
  • 10 YEARS MINIMUM OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED; MEETING WITH TV BRANDS, MANUFACTURING COMPANIES & SOURCING DECISIONMAKERS TO ESTABLISH REGULAR SALES MEETINGS & DRIVE TO CLOSE DEALS
  • MUST HAVE CONTRACT EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO STARTING THIS POSITION
  • FINANCE MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS MODELING AND FORECASTING, DATA, PRESENTATIONS
