Coordinator, HR Admin PT
The HR Shared Services department of Canon U.S.A.'s Corporate Human Resources division is seeking a part -time HR Administrative Coordinator. The Coordinator reviews HR and benefit data changes for accuracy and compliance in accordance with company policies, compensation guidelines and state/local tax setup. They must adhere to processing deadlines to ensure accurate payroll, benefits and general ledger. They may assist with documentation for HR processes and procedures. This role encompasses HR Admin support for all Canon Americas and Latin American companies.
This position is part - time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Mondays and Wednesday* and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Responsibilities for this role include;
• Reviews data as follows: new hires, promotions, equity adjustments, supervisor changes, account code changes, terminations, severances, salary changes, benefit changes, leave of absences, status changes (address changes, name change, marital status).
• Data entry may be required for benefit changes, new hires and HR data changes.
• Handles distribution of incoming HR mail.
• Receives and distributes Canon 800 number calls to appropriate departments.
Typically requires general education and/or vocational training but little to no experience, however the successful candidate will have experience working in an office environment.
Seeking an individual who can work under pressure, while still maintaining accurate data entry.
Software Proficiency Requirement: Excel, Adobe (editing PDF's) and Microsoft Word.
