Why we need you:

As a content strategist focused on community building and marketing, you’d write a lot, think creatively a lot, organize a lot, and execute a lot. You’d start by understanding our customers and our category—both community-led and community-centric—and then you’d work to distill your learnings into content that helps other people understand how to better build, nurture, and connect with their communities. This could take the form of organizing online and in-person events, writing blog posts, newsletter content, social media posts, and emails, concepting and delivering in-product content experiences, recording podcasts and interviews, and other things we perhaps haven’t dreamt of yet. 

You’d dream and deliver alongside a small and mighty team of seasoned co-founders, marketers, product designers, product managers, recruiters and, last but never least, the best darn engineering team this side of the Mississippi. 

You’d love working with us in this role if you: 

  • Have 4+ years of experience in content strategy, content production, marketing, copywriting, editing, community building, user researching, event organizing, or any other related field that makes you a great fit for this role 
  • Are jazzed to dive deep into social media as a medium for storytelling, building relationships, and creating brand equity with people who have a wide range of interests 
  • Can confidently concept, plan, coordinate, and deliver impactful events, both online and in-person
  • Love to bring passionate people together and are focused on gathering a diverse set of people, viewpoints, voices, and expertise in the same place
  • Feel comfortable with ambiguity, horizontal team structures, wearing lots of hats, and TL;DR with a dose of good humor
