The Marketing Operations team at Fortinet enables successful execution of the Fortinet’s go-to-market strategy by continuously increasing our opportunities and sales by innovating on process, systems, marketing technology and account/contact approach. In this position, you will be supporting operations of our global marketing and business development team to improve sales conversion. Position located at HQ in Sunnyvale, CA.


Position Description

  • Define and refine processes to improve lead and opportunity flow and routing
  • Work with IT, Sales and Marketing to drive analytics and insights to improve GTM approach
  • Manage marketing and sales campaigns to align account, buying groups and personas to content and selling motion
  • Ensure account/contact data quality
  • Augmentation and microsegment of accounts and buying groups
  • Orchestrate lead/contact buyer’s journey to align with marketing/sales motion
  • Manage Marketing Automation System and CRM for effective execution
  • Maintain SFDC dashboards to track and manage campaign effectiveness

Skill Requirements

  • Intermediate level of expertise using Salesforce, Eloqua, MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
  • Must have passion for data and analytics driven decisions and actions
  • Extremely high attention to detail, analytical & comfortable in a numeric/data driven environment
  • Thrives working in a fast paced/high revenue environment, demonstrates a high sense of urgency
  • Must be customer service forward, self-starter, fast learner & team player
  • Ability to maintain a positive, flexible & professional attitude towards customers and co-workers
  • Ability to "think outside the box", troubleshoot proactively & accordingly with “Go above & beyond” mentality

Required Skills, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • 2+ year of Sales or Operations experience (preferably in the B2B tech industry)
  • Track record of meeting monthly, quarterly or annual individual or team KPIs
  • Has knowledge of commonly used terminology & products within the Cyber Security field
  • Understanding of B2B Channel Sales & Direct Sales motions
