Human Resources professionals develop and execute HR strategies, programs and services across one or more parts of the employee lifecycle to attract, develop and retain a highly engaged and differentiated workforce that enables the execution of human capital and business strategies.

The Benefits Associate Manager is responsible to support the Ventures & Acquisition and Mobilization Teams with a focus on our opportunities in Canada. In this role, you will provide benefits subject matter expertise in all phases of the deal life cycle including conducting benefit comparisons and gap analysis, executing mitigation solutions in accordance with plan and administrative requirements. This role is responsible for heavy liaison duties with our deal teams and frequent presentations to our new employees and leads that are joining Accenture via an acquisition or transition.. This role will determine how/when the newly acquired employees will on-board and work closely with our vendors to organize Day 1 Enrollment. Additional duties will include:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Canadian benefits plans and programs
  • Ensure Canadian health plans are administered in accordance with plan documents and legal requirements
  • Interpret plan rules and resolve escalated participant inquiries
  • Oversee the work of our third-party administrator: participate in implementation of plan changes, new programs and ongoing meetings
  • Implement plan changes and/or new benefit programs as needed
  • Vendor relationship management, including verification of return on investment
  • Support government compliance activities including reporting and disclosure requirements, benefit filings, notices and communications


The main responsibility of this role is to support our Canadian Ventures, Acquisitions, and Transition process, including due diligence process for potential deals, support to the deal team, benefits presentations and assisting in transition of new employees onto Accenture plans and programs. 



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

College Degree

5 years of Benefits experience

Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years of Benefits experience

Venture & Acquisition experience

Canadian healthcare experience

Benefits Certification such as CEBS, CBP, etc.

Experience in employee benefits management, specifically health and welfare and 401(k) plans

Excellent project management skills

Good Excel and PowerPoint skills

Benefits compliance experience

Professional Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects at once

Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $97,632 - $182,600 and information on benefits offered is here.
