IoT Senior UX Designer

What You'll Do

As a Senior UX Designer-IoT , you will be part of the Cisco Product Design IoT User Experience team covering both Cellular and Industrial applications while working in Agile methodologies. You will be working within the methodologies of “The Design Sprint” in conjunction with Design Thinking practices in day-day work.

Lead UX initiatives, gather requirements, wireframe, design in high fidelity, develop prototypes, deliver production quality assets, and ensure that implementations meet expectations Possess the critical thinking skills, inventiveness, and work ethic required to design complex workflows, data-rich views and interactive visualizations

Who You'll Work With

• You will work closely with individuals and teams across and outside the organization (stakeholders, product managers, engineering, integrators, customers…) to represent both user and business interests in order to improve the product and portfolio experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Support, Marketing, and other parts of the organization to design and build an outstanding experience inline with business strategy and user needs
• Synthesize & communicate a deep understanding of business requirements, and their alignment with user needs, to our scrum teams.
• Take stewardship of a compelling experience for customers and teams for a product with research data. Join UX colleagues in solving gnarly design problems via Miro whiteboard scribble sessions as needed. Partner with designers and developers to ensure all parties speak the same user-centered language across the IoT products. Deliver wireframes and prototypes and review with partners and assist scrum teams in interpreting requirements and deliverables.

Who You Are

We're looking for a team member that has:

• A wide range of skills that spans interviewing stakeholders to stubbing out interaction patterns in prototyping tools or in code.
• Experience designing solutions representing large, complex data sets, enterprise type workflows, an interactive visualization in an intuitive manner.
• Passionate about investigating new trends, techniques, and technologies and using them to keep products and processes innovative but not at the expense of being highly effective
