Job Description

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Your role will be passionate about driving Oracle Analytics growth through growing Analytics attach, growing the Oracle Analytics, Data & AI/M footprint with your customers, and in discovering new opportunity. Ideal candidates should have a strong sales background, with a deep understanding of Analytics and AI/ML capabilities and Industry use-case detail that allows you to successfully build long-term, meaningful customer relationships.

Act as an inspiring leader, to define the Oracle Analytics, Data & AI strategy of your customers within your industry, with solutions aligned to your customer’s business goals. Engage with customers across the breadth of an organization, building relationships multi-functionally and at all levels. Form high-value partnerships with your customer’s c-suite and decision-makers, helping them build an Oracle Analytics, Data and AI/ML vison and journey.

Engage with Enterprise Sales, Technical and Consulting teams across the Oracle Tech/Cloud Enterprise to identify and develop opportunities. Drive Analytics, Data & AI/ML capabilities to help deliver on the customers desired transformation. Promote Oracle Analytics across the Oracle Tech/Cloud Enterprise GTM.

Driving industry defining customer success stories, highlighting business transformation initiatives that positively impact your customer’s business, including sustainability. Build compelling customer references to showcase Analytics, Data and AI/ML capabilities on the Oracle platform.

We Like to See

  • Experience of enterprise sales in Cloud and/or On-Premise high-tech business environments or account management.
  • Prior sales experience in an analytics specialist solution sales position, working with for example, Analytics solutions, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning.
  • Experience in managing strategic CxOs relationships.
  • Consistent track record in orchestrating multiple projects.
  • Experience of working in a diverse, multi-functional remote team.
