  • Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of Advanced TV and audience based advertising. He/She will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
  • The Head of Strategic Marketing Americas will report directly to the Global Vice President of Marketing and Analytics and will be based in the NYC office with Americas travel as needed.   • Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead a cross-disciplinary team which covers the full marketing funnel inclusive of brand and content development, demand gen, communications and channels, integrated marketing, as well as events / client experience and go to market analytics.
  • Management and leadership responsibility for strategies, personnel, and teams across US, Canada, and Latin America.
  • Multi-million dollar budgetary prioritization and management.
  • Capacity to plan strategically across channels, disciplines, and business priorities.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate planning and activation across the business.
  • Drive collaboration and process improvement.
  • Lead launch planning and activations for products, solutions, and thought leadership.
  • Play an integral role in developing the voice of Samsung Ads, and provide an informed and unique POV on the advanced TV and programmatic landscape.
  • Lead strategy and development of core marketing resources, including sales narrative & presentation, core offerings, and communication of audience/vertical insights against key industry planning and buying cycles.
  • Lead delivery of data-driven strategies in acquisition and engagement through martech stack.
  • Lead marketplace communication efforts related to press releases, press FAQ, product announcements and PR forums.
  • Align closely with Sales Management to understand advertiser priorities, concerns and challenges. Direct knowledge base of client needs will help shape overall positioning and provide guidance on how to manage client communication.
  • Drive planning for Industry Events and tentpoles, such as CES, NewFronts and industry conferences and association participation, focusing on Samsung Ads core “story” to key advertisers.
  • Form partnerships across internal Samsung divisions to deliver the full power of the Samsung Ads story to them market.
  • Collaborate with analytics and insights and product teams to position platform innovations, to support driving market awareness and demand for Samsung Ads.
  • Drive sales enablement and marketing training programs to ensure consistent messaging throughout US & International markets.
  • Ability to identify and drive RFP and selection of key vendor partnerships and ongoing management.
  • Qualifications:
  • 15+ years working in an organization that supports the Advertising Sales function with F100 brands.
  • Direct experience in developing marketplace positioning and communication for a leading Advertising company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field. Master or MBA degree a plus.
  • Prior experience in working with design agencies and producers on marketing resources.
  • Must be task driven and have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising space, with knowledge of programmatic landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
