Job Description



Partners with business units/divisions in delivering Corporate and Divisional HR policies and programs.


Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).


Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 2 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.

Responsibilities

The Oracle Cloud HR team is a results-oriented team that works with leaders to help make Oracle a great place to work. We are a team of skilled human resource professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative environment within a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative technology organization.

We're looking for a HR Manager/Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will handle daily HR activities including data reporting and analytics, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development and employee engagement. 

 

Key activities:

  • Collaborate and support business leadership and the broader HR team to implement HR plans and solutions to achieve business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Support the broader HR team with data & analytic requests, PowerPoint preparation, and story- telling to the business.
  • Partner with leaders, at multiple levels, and their teams to support and execute HR initiatives and activities that cultivate growth, innovation and organizational efficiency. This includes implementing programs, processes and tools to help set up managers and employees for success.
  • Assist managers and the broader HR team in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, and drive appropriate solutions for these activities.
  • Participate in company-wide compensation programs including annual salary/bonus/stock review.
  • Support HR Strategic Partners, OTD and organization leaders in the facilitation of leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Build credibility and trust among employees of all levels.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned which may include supporting and implementing initiatives across all U.S. and global locations.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of HR-related experience
  • You have the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment and navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.
  • Able to handle workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.
  • Applied knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws. You have knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices
  • Experience in supporting, executing and maintaining HR projects and programs.
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint), and report preparation and updating.
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems.
