Role Overview:

We’re looking for an energetic, positive, and detail-oriented leader to lead a newly created People Analytics and Workforce Strategy Team. In this role, you and your team will focus on understanding business problems, applying the needed analytical approach and translating findings to drive decision making & business impact. You will leverage & apply data across the full employee life cycle and derive insights to improve the global employee experience.


You will partner closely with Workforce Planning (WFP), HR, Talent Acquisition (TA), Finance and Org Leaders to integrate internal and external datasets to identify appropriate opportunities to drive global strategic decisions on HC investments, hiring & other talent decisions. This position will have an initial emphasis on building the team and ensuring processes and dashboards are in place with a longer-term focus on building organizational capability in the areas of people insights and strategic workforce planning.


As an expert in this domain, you will partner with the business to continue to advance the overall data function across various areas including measurement and reporting, technology implementations / integration, and program management. You will review the multiple data platforms (Business Intelligence, Oracle Analytics Cloud, APEX etc.) in use currently and advise on the optimal technology & platform to drive success for the business.


OCI is changing rapidly, and this role will be instrumental in influencing and steering the organization through these global changes. You will partner with HR and Business Leadership on high-profile initiatives, creating compelling business cases to support major business decisions.



  • Define the structure and lead the implementation of the OCI People Analytics function based on overall business goals & strategy
  • Support and advise the HR & Business Leadership Teams on organization hygiene & health including the setting of structural (e.g., layers, spans of control) and functional (e.g., manager effectiveness, engagement) goals for healthy growth. Track progress, and advise internal stakeholders on opportunities for strategic adjustment
  • Create and manage people toolkits and dashboards designed to allow Business Leaders to make strategic people investment decisions which may include: what to think about when re-designing an org, how to translate org health insights into tactical staffing plans, when and why to assess capability gaps, and more
  • Set workforce metrics for measurement and dashboard reporting with WFP, HR, TA, Finance and Executive leadership
  • Consult with internal partners on global workforce challenges facing OCI and ensure decisions consider emergent thinking in how we tackle these challenges
  • Partner with TA, WFP & Finance to ensure the proper execution of all processes, and tools to effectively manage the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of headcount across OCI
  • Design & leverage data & dashboards to represent the impact of all OCI HR People Programs including onboarding, manager excellence, D&I and ROB processes (annual review, talent reviews, promotions etc.)
  • Partner with Oracle Corporate Workforce Analytic resources to ensure the design and delivery of global tools that incorporate a modern approach to People Analytics, Reporting and Dashboards
  • Lead through a team of managers, interfacing with partners in other geographic regions to provide a global view for business leaders.
  • Responsible for ongoing career development, performance management and retention of the team

Personal Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Human Resources, Compensation, or Organization Design
  • Expert knowledge and experience enabling operational results through data and analytics in a global technology or products/services company
  • Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint
  • Expert level experience with advanced data tools
  • Ability to develop effective business relationships at all levels of the company, including direct engagement with senior leaders and executives
  • Inclusive people leadership skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to work independently and be resourceful in finding solutions.
  • Comfortable working in very ambiguous situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and, effective problem solving ability.
