Position Summary

The Samsung Vancouver team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help us achieve that growth. In this role you will be working closely with hiring managers to build and execute sourcing strategies to engage high-quality diverse candidate pools. 

We are looking for someone who will find creative and innovative ways to source and hire great people to join our Vancouver team! To be successful in this role, you have genuine interest in the latest technology and you understand the nature of the industry. 

This position is a 1 year contract.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle recruitment process from job posting creation to offer presentations
  • Source and screen candidates for a wide range of technical roles
  • Build strong candidate pipelines via sourcing, ATS applications, referrals and agency partners
  • Build solid relationships with leadership teams and hiring managers and serve as a partner and coach during the recruitment process
  • Use recruitment data to inform and drive sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with the HR team and actively engage in diversity and inclusion hiring strategies
  • Manage candidate communication to ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience
  • Oversee the coordination of interview schedules and provide updates to candidates and hiring managers
  • Support the HR team with other projects and hiring commitments as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in a high volume environment
  • Experience recruiting for technical functions is required
  • Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (Workday), social media, and data management
  • A team-player with proven ability to build strong meaningful relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer service oriented with focus on providing a high level of service delivery and partnership
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
