Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • 4 years of experience in media/advertising sales, business development, or digital marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building internal/external relationships.
  • Experience facilitating and influencing at executive levels through building relationships.
  • Knowledge of the education industry's issues, plans for its growth, and goals to advance forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
  • Ability to work quickly on industry trends, set a roadmap for growth, and advance Google's strategies within the marketplace.
  • Excellent promoting and leadership skills.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Account Executive, you will help to provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will also support and grow business with Google’s advertisers and manage business relationships to ensure that our clients needs and requirements are met. In addition, you will be an advocate while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage global business planning across various Google products and partner teams.
  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data-driven points of view and recommendations that align with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Partner with an Account Manager and team members to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth.
  • Manage and develop relationships with executives and our clients through a consultative, customer-focused, and collaborative business approach.
