Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience within digital media, advertising, E-Commerce, or performance marketing.
  • Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline, and/or client stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, customer relationships, and consultation within the media industry.
  • Experience managing and optimizing Google Ads and strategic search campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital tactics, for search and performance tactics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on projects in a cross-functional team setting, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As an Account Manager for Omnichannel Retail, you'll manage relationships with a select portfolio of Google's retail clients.You'll be a proactive self-starter, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You'll also be highly business-focused, with the ability to help to expand and deepen client relationships. Additionally, you'll act as an advisor and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities


  • Serve as a liaison with customers regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities.
  • Provide campaign updates and optimization recommendations to ensure that our advertisers are satisfied.
  • Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analysis, and recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to pitch to customers.
  • Manage on-going customer training in all Google Ads-related tools.
  • Report on business growth figures internally and take ownership with the leader of your vertical.
