Our Search:

The ES Digital Transformation Program Management and Change Office is looking for a talented learning designer with change management acumen who can contribute to the creation and implementation of an agile e-learning strategy that flexes with the needs of our culture and employees. In this role, you will work as part of a broader change management team, supporting the development of change management strategies while owning the writing and development of engaging courses and learning experiences for our incredible global workforce. Your work will help us bring to life our L&D strategy within the ES Digital Transformation Program Management and Change Office, enabling our people to be successful in adopting the multi faceted projects led by the transformation team in support of the broader ES organization.


This position reports to one of our Senior Change Managers and will actively work with the ES Change Center of Excellence on definition and implementation of a scalable learning and development approach, strategy and practices that will facilitate enablement success for our people, led by our program and change management teams. In addition, this team member will play an integral role in change and enablement activities on ES-led change programs at Salesforce.


Key responsibilities:


Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored, scalable learning curriculum and experiences supporting change management for a variety of global audiences, both live and on our internal platforms; this includes engaging, people-centered materials and e-learning strategies and courses that support the business needs and priorities of our employee audience
  • Create and manage training campaigns, including the editorial process - bringing innovative ways to drive completion
  • Participate with change management team in conducting change readiness and impact assessments, sponsor assessments, and stakeholder interviews; identify learning adoption barriers, needs, and gaps that inform enablement strategies
  • Liaise with stakeholders to consult them on training process (e.g. writing and translation guidelines to timeline requirements)
  • Collaborate closely with project management and change management teams to ensure learning and development strategies are integrated into enablement plans to achieve program objectives
  • to ensure learning approach or delivery is connected to change strategy or program objectives
  • Conduct discovery sessions in consultation and/or partnership with change teams to scope learning needs
  • Build and facilitate stakeholder relationships to partner in the development and execution of change strategies
  • Employ leading practices and varied, adult instructional strategies (Principles of Adult Learning) to enhance our learning programs and develop new offerings
  • Conduct learning needs analysis in order to design curriculum that organizes and prioritizes enablement needs.
  • Work in a variety of technical platforms including LMS to craft a range of learning materials, tailored and right-sized to the our audiences
  • Manage the end-to-end operations for our training programs to include capturing metrics to serve as basis for training modifications: Tasks range from overseeing participant, enrollment & coach assignments, creating high touch communication plans, executing day-of logistics and taking a data-driven approach to making improvements to both content and process.
  • Be the PMO (Project Management Officer) for our curriculum design, stakeholder communication, dashboards, analytics and overall program enhancements.
  • Own and maintain our Learning Journey catalog, highlighting all our enablement programs, content and playbooks; develop best practices and content guidelines/standards to scale learning effectiveness
  • Maintain and enhance our Highspot page within our content management system & processes, coordinating the process to validate our existing content as complete, accurate and up-to-date
  • Drive new tools, processes, or system launches and drive adoption through collaboration with the ES Digital transformation team and leadership
  • Take a strategic thought-partner approach to execution and continuous improvement of the existing program(s). This involves keeping a pulse on the needs and challenges of leaders and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within the greater program.
  • Take a blended-learning approach to include LMS, classroom, webinar, self-study, event-based training, and new technologies to help scale global programs in each theater.
  • Track and measure the results of programs and content, and regularly report results to key business stakeholders.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and/or update on-demand courses and curricula using eLearning authoring software, G-Suite and/or MS Office Suite
  • Design and develop concise, creative, and effective instruction. Course deliverables can include design documents, storyboards, prototypes, instructor and participant materials
  • Create project documentation including the design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, train-the-trainer, and pilot materials
  • Work directly with technical subject matter experts to capture course-specific knowledge
  • Assist with visualization, design and development of learning paths
  • Design, develop, and implement measurement and evaluation strategies to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions on performance
  • Provide input into work plan creation, advising on the length of time required to design, develop, and complete learning solutions

Required Skills:

  • 2-6 years of proven instructional design and learning content development experience, ideally using SAM, ADDIE, or similar methodology
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for helping others succeed
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively with a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, and stay flexible and adaptable through growth and change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong editing capabilities and a knack for storytelling
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships to collaborate and work across functional teams – at various levels, internally and externally, in-person and virtually
  • Demonstrated experience integrating cultural and ability-inclusive learning considerations into content development
  • Experience integrating theory and practice to deliver high quality e-learning experiences
  • Experience designing and developing for various types and levels of products and partners, including SaaS products, industry, and/or technology
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System and a variety of other learning management tools, including integration of gamification tools and techniques
  • Manage conversion process of content - e.g. converting Google Doc materials to LMS via GitHub / Trailmaker (must be tech savvy)
  • Actively and continuously learn and stay informed about the latest curriculum updates, messaging, product capabilities, roles, and new systems and processes
  • Experience translating complex concepts into an easy to understand and digestible format
  • Understanding of and experience with global cultures
  • Commitment to customer success

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in various learning platforms (our internal platforms: Trailhead, ACT, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub for Conversion, Tableau Server) to manage and deploy training collateral
  • Experience using Mac OS
  • Demonstrated experience in Communications and Change and Adoption planning and execution
  • Training delivery experience in a technical software or hardware company a plus
  • Experience using content authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or Articulate Storyline
  • Demonstrated high standards for quality balanced with the need to get to market fast
  • Prosci or other recognized change management or L&D certification a plus
  • Experience with Tableau, Einstein or Google Analytics a plus
