Are you interested in generating business impact for a growing, $1B+ business within Salesforce? The MuleSoft’s Digital Marketing team is looking for a business-savvy, paid search rock star to help grow the global Marketing pipeline via paid digital efforts.  


If you are an exceptional marketing leader and business driver, this role will give you the opportunity to take your expertise and career to the next level.  You will report to the Director of Digital COE and work with the Digital Demand team, internal stakeholders, and agency partners to design focused, results-driven strategy that fuels pipe and revenue growth for Mulesoft via Paid Search and Display. 

 

Data-driven and results-oriented, you will work cross-functionally to hit targets for MQLs, MQL quality, SALs and marketing pipeline.  You lead with a data-driven approach, are highly organized and skilled in building consensus in a matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate has expertise across multiple paid channels with special emphasis in managing global paid search and display programs, and a strong background in B2B and SaaS marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day management and pipe gen across global search and display channels, with a media budget of $20-30M.
  • Meet or exceed monthly performance targets for MQLs, MQL quality, SALs, pipeline and ROI by region.
  • Strategically increase SEM investment capacity across the Global portfolio by unlocking synergies with Organic, improving ad and LP quality scores, and championing testing with Web, Content & Account Journey teams.
  • Implement optimizations including: account structure, budget optimization based on ROI, bid management, keyword expansion, campaign strategy, audience implementation, strategic testing, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Scale existing campaigns and develop new campaigns to capture demand across multiple SKUs, industries and regions.
  • Design and implement A/B tests (ads, content, landing pages) to improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with agency partners - Google, Microsoft, LiveRamp, and others.
  • Work closely with the SEO team to develop holistic keyword strategies for the SERPs.
  • Partner with Account Journey Management team, as well as social and content syndication leads to drive cohesive approaches across channels.
  • Align with other internal teams, such as Integrated Campaigns, Content, Field Marketing, and Sales, to develop fully-integrated search campaigns.
  • Deliver paid search and display recommendations that support cross-channels strategies.
  • Function as Subject Matter Expert in providing insight into paid search and display strategy and performance.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years working in the B2B SaaS vertical
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working in SEM and Display management with strong success record
  • Prior ownership of marketing pipe or revenue targets is a must
  • Experience managing $20M+ monthly paid media budgets
  • Strong, hands-on-keys expertise with Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads and Search Ads 360
  • Expertise creating and optimizing paid search, DSA, GDN, remarketing, and MSAN campaigns
  • Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS
  • Understanding of complex bidding metrics – LTV, CAC, tCPA, tROAS, offline revenue uploads, custom weighted conversions
  • Knowledge and experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and conversion tracking
  • Working proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau or other reporting tools
  • Capacity to forecast based on historical data, trends, and industry data
  • Ability to extract insight/actions from data and relate the “story” to key stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen
  • Excellent cross-functional project management ability
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong teamwork/collaboration proclivity
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Certification in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager is a bonus
