We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineering Manager who is enthusiastic about building a great team and fostering a strong cohesive culture to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity team.


As a leader, you will manage, support, and oversee the implementation and development of all the data loss mechanisms in our environment. The primary day-to-day responsibilities include leading the DLP engineering team to design solutions that improve overall security posture. In this role you will have a global presence while collaborating with architecture and infrastructure, and product and project management to build and enhance current security tools and implement new innovative security technologies.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the engineering team in implementing and maintaining security tools, solutions, and processes to ensure an appropriate security posture.  
  • Be a technical leader who guides decisions across approaches to architecture technology choices, releases, deployment, and operations.
  • Oversee the Development of detection rules across various platforms and Business Units to improve our overall detection capabilities 
  • Active engagement in technical discussions and incidents handling.
  • Develops a strong culture of build, develop, and ownership, ensuring the team collectively owns all policies and understand alternatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the globe to impact and drive results.  
  • Hire, train, mentor and provide professional development and career growth guidance
  • Build strategic relationships across engineering realms to achieve projects and objectives

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in information security technology or equivalent work experience and/or Security certifications. 
  • 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, ideally with previous management experience 
  • Strong technical experience and familiarity with various techniques of cyber-attacks, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Purple Team concepts, incident response, and threat hunting modeling 
  • Working experience within a Security Operations Center environment, improving SOC processes and workflows related to security operations 
  • Deep understanding of DLP tools and controls used in security incident detection and handling 
  • Strong organizational, documentation, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Proven ability to communicate written and oral plans, concepts and present ideas at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, with a collaborative and positive/professional persona 
  • Knowledge of or demonstrated experience with defense in depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions
