We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join the Advertising Human Resources team as a Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) supporting the Ads Product and Tech (AdPT) team.

In this position, you’ll develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives including areas such as organizational expansion, executive onboarding, performance coaching, training and development, employee relations, and retention.

To be successful in this role you will need demonstrated analytical capabilities and the ability to coach and influence business leaders at all levels while assisting them and the organization become more effective as they scale.

As Principal HRBP you will be embedded with your clients to build and execute HR strategies that enable the business’ growth plans. Whether coaching your clients on leading their teams, developing innovative solutions and programs to deliver results for our business or navigating and resolving employee relations issues, you will be a champion of Amazon’s culture and values, partnering with your clients to help them build and retain customer obsessed teams.

The successful candidate will display a depth of understanding of and passion for partnering strategically with their business leaders. Amazon looks for individuals who can think strategically as well as roll up their sleeves and dive deep into practical application. We are looking for HR professionals who can diagnose problems, identify appropriate solutions, influence the business leaders with data-driven recommendations, and drive change.

You must be able to interface effectively with leaders at all levels and need excellent communication skills, analytical thinking and ability to perform in a fast paced and innovative environment.


· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

· 10 years of HR experiences

· 5+ in HRBP line role

· Experience working with internationally distributed teams


· Masters degree in Human Resources Management or related field

· Demonstrated ability to influence and partner at all levels of organization to achieve results

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Exceptional listening skills and communication skills

· Ability to source, interpret, and use data to tell a story and influence decision makers

· Demonstrated ability to see patterns and set strategy while being able to dig into the details and

· Critical thinking and problem solving skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology organization where ambiguity, agility, and flexibility are valued daily

· Experience working with high growth technology teams
