The supply chain industry has seen immense growth in the past decade with traditional players expanding to ecommerce to new age startups offering very sleek product designs. Amazon is in a unique position to leverage its core skill of supply chain and extend the same to customers who wish to sell on Amazon as well as elsewhere.


As the program manager for ADFS marketing, you will support multiple event workstreams to increase awareness about our services. You will apply project management best practices to make the team and processes more efficient and more effective. You will work directly with senior marketing managers, external vendors, and other internal teams to support events throughout the entire process (pre-event activities, onsite support and post event follow-up).



Key job responsibilities

As the program manager, you will be responsible for the successful and timely execution of planned events. You will create individual event playbooks and event guides to facilitate the team through successful event planning and completion. You will navigate and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure comprehensive event presence. You will identify areas to invent and simply to lower cost and maximize lead generation and ROI. You will assist the marketing lead in promoting, developing, and growing the lead database. You will be responsible for organizing and executing post mortems and event evaluations to help shape future events.


The ideal candidate has proven experience in event management, both in-person and virtual. They will support a variety of partners to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality experience for event participants. To be successful in this role candidates need to be organized, event savvy, and driven to deliver on multiple deliverables simultaneously. Must be willing to travel to events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 2+ years of experience in program or project management

• Demonstrated organizational and planning ability

• 2+ years’ experience supporting industry or trade events

• Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communicator who can articulate recommendations to senior team members, stakeholders, and customers

• Effective, concise writer who can create, edit, proof engaging content to entice target audience(s)

• Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done
