Job summary

The Neuron Compiler team is looking for developers who are interested in building the world's leading deep learning compiler for current and future Amazon proprietary ML accelerators. This is a product development position to produce high-quality, high-performance software that makes the latest cutting-edge hardware shine.

We develop new optimization techniques and algorithms that take neural network descriptions created in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNET, and efficiently map them into code suitable for execution on custom-built state-of-the-art AWS systems. The Neuron organization has a strong technical atmosphere, friendly team-work spirit, and engineers with diverse backgrounds. You will work with other team members to

• Develop production software with validation and continuous integration in mind.

• Develop MLIR based compiler technology for Deep Learning workloads.

• Develop large-scale production software with validation and continuous integration in mind.

• Collaborate with other software and hardware teams to develop compiler optimizations for Deep Learning domain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in compiler engineering or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience with compiler code generation and optimization techniques
  • Programming competence in at least one of C++, Python, C


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.S. in compiler engineering or related fields
  • Experience with multiple toolchains, compilers, and Instruction Set Architectures
  • Strong knowledge of resource management, scheduling, code generation, and compute graph optimization
  • Experience optimizing Tensorflow, PyTorch, or MxNET deep learning models
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
