Job summary

We are looking for an innovative full stack developer to join us and contribute to the seller journey.

Customer Trust & Partner Support (CTPS) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting Customers, Brands, Selling Partners and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as empowering, providing world‐class support, and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners. PSAS (Partner Solutions and Support) is part of CTPS organization and is responsible for improving Selling Partner (Seller, Vendor and Brand Registry) experience. Selling Partners contact Amazon through multiple mediums to seek help on various issues in their journey.

We study and analyze the contacts to detect patterns and identify potential solutions. To achieve this vision, we invest in technology to detect, eliminate and prevent root cause issues for the Selling Partners. Team includes product managers, program managers, Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Scientists, Operational and Specialty roles. We operate at a scale of 17K Amazonians spanning across 50+ global locations handling over 85M contacts a year.

Our team in PSAS is specifically responsible for contact elimination and prevention to improve Seller experience. For contact elimination, we collaborate with system owners, identify root cause, innovate & develop new features, solutions or products. For prevention, we study contacts using ML and AI models, detect patterns and develop brand new seller features to avoid or reduce contacts.

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science related fields OR 1+ years equivalent experience in software development


  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers. Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
