Technical Program Manager - Integrity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager in Denver, Vancouver, Toronto, or Remote to work with our Integrity Engineering Team. Integrity is focused on maintaining customer and user trust in and on Slack, so Slack can remain a simple, pleasant, and productive place for things to get done. Integrity programs often involve many parts of the company, requiring close coordination and collaboration with multiple teams and external vendors. In this role, you’ll work with Security, Privacy, Legal, Engineering, Product, Design, Quality, Product Marketing, Customer Success, other cross-functional teams and vendors ensuring successful and efficient delivery of programs. You’ll also propose and implement changes to increase operational efficiency within teams and across the org. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of  large cross functional programs by anticipating risks, untangling dependencies, evaluating trade-offs, and cutting through ambiguity.
  • Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information. 
  • Track areas of concern, escalate risks, and identify and resolve blockers. Track projects against the committed dates and release schedule.
  • Discover, propose, and drive new program opportunities across the teams you are aligned with
  • Work within teams and across the organization on improving operational efficiencies including team execution, status reporting, dashboarding, etc.
  • Become a highly credible and impactful  influencer with peers and stakeholders, building productive, trusting relationships with partners.


 

Requirements

  • At least 4 years leading planning, resource management, and project lifecycles in a dynamic engineering organization
  • Experience working with customer protection initiatives related to trust, anti-spam and abuse prevention. Must be comfortable working with sensitive content.
  • Experience working with external vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers, scope technical projects, and identify technical risks
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and experience managing activities across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams
  • JIRA user experience
  • Experience coaching teams on agile product development practices and principles
  • Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others

  • SQL experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
