Principal Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems
• Collaborate with other teams to share and incorporate innovations
• Mentor and grow the energetic, diverse, and driven team with a good mix of senior, mid-level, and junior talent.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 9 years of software development experience demonstrating responsibilities identified above.
• 2 years of experience in leading an engineering team.
• Experience building systems, developer tools, and/or continuous integration.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• A degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong interest in developer productivity and developer productivity tools.
• Track record of productive engineering collaboration.
• Ability to interact with a diverse set of passionate, highly technical users.
• Experience with contributing to open-source projects
