Job DescriptionTipico North America is looking for someone who will assist our General Counsel in providing tailored legal support across all departments of our dynamic, growing tech company.

The Junior Legal Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel and work together with the rest of management team and employees. They will be responsible for contributing to the daily legal operations for Tipico USA. The position holder ensures this is done by doing the following:

  • Review and participate in drafting and negotiation of agreements, including NDAs, procurement, service agreements, lease agreements, etc.
  • Maintain corporate governance and other document archives of the Legal department.
  • Provide support in connection with managing and maintaining template agreements.
  • Create and maintain databases of legal documents, oversee renewals and amendments of contracts.
  • Assist all departments in daily legal inquiries and work collaboratively across multiple functions of Tipico, including Product, HR, Marketing, Compliance, Payments, etc.
  • QualificationsJ.D. or LLM in the United States 
  • One (1) years minimum experience in an in-house position, government agency or law firm
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop good working relationships with a diverse and international team 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and work to deadlines
  • Solid skills using MS office tools, good drafting skills in English
