The Microsoft Advertising Marketing team is looking for a talented marketer to drive customer lifecycle strategy and execution, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for newly acquired customers.  

In this role, you will work across marketing, sales, engineering, services and analytics partner teams to develop and execute a global onboarding marketing program for new small business advertisers onto the Microsoft Advertising platform across 30+ markets.  

You are a self-starter who will research and develop a data-driven approach and gain an in-depth understanding of key drivers for engagement, revenue and retention within the Onboarding customer lifecycle for small business advertisers and agencies. In this role you will own the creation and execution of the Onboarding marketing program, in conjunction with various stakeholders, across multiple touch points including email, web, app, services, to improve the customer onboarding experience and ongoing retention.   

Responsibilities

  • Creating a multi-channel onboarding program across email, in-app messaging, web engagement, webcasts, etc. working with key stakeholders to optimize the customer experience. 
  • Building and optimizing a multi-touch email program with our creative agency to engage, delight and educate new small business advertisers.   
  • Conduct constant opportunity analysis to improve the customer experience and meet revenue goals.  
  • Oversee the customer service onboarding offering that touches thousands of customers each month. Conduct regular analysis to uncover ways to improve the experience and business results.  
  • Be the resident subject matter expert on customer Onboarding Churn including monitoring and sharing business results and trends.   
  • Manage campaign content language, cultural and geopolitical localization as appropriate. 
  • Prepare and present reviews of customer marketing activities and business impact. 

 

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 3+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience. 
  • Marketing experience preferably with digital marketing experience. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deliverables in parallel to efficiently achieve high-quality results. 
  •        Experience managing campaign execution including strategy, planning, execution and reporting   
  •        Strong project management skills. 
  •        Ability to drive results through multiple cross-group layers  
  •        Ability to creatively solve complex problems  

 

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience 
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 2+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience 
  • OR equivalent experience.
