We are searching for a driven, collaborative self-starter to be our lead Product Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is both a seasoned go-to-market strategist and an innovative storyteller who can make Flipgrid features come to life through our community.


This role sits on our community marketing team and works closely with product and design teams to plan our feature development and storytelling 4-6 months in advance. A key part of this position is advising on product builds while determining how to unveil features to the community in a way that is fun, inspiring, easy to understand and ultimately drives for acquisition and retention. 


Primary Responsibilities 


  • Establish a product marketing practice that combines both feature, product and community storytelling in innovative ways
  • Build and execute feature GTM plans while leading in the development of value prop positioning, messaging and creative assets
  • Embody the community-first culture of Flipgrid and regularly interact with our users to source use-case stories to spotlight in marketing and social content
  • Analyze community and market signals to identify growth opportunities with our product development and feature marketing strategy to acquire and retain
  • Partner with the product team to contribute to product vision and communicate feature release plans while acting as a bridge between product and marketing/community teams
  • Partner with channel leads and brand creative team to ensure all GTM efforts are inclusive and accessible to our community that spans 190 countries
  • Work with our analytics team to understand product usage patterns and identify opportunities to drive growth
  • Bring energy to projects and drive clarity on timelines and measures of success



  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with a strong track record of shipping products and services for a consumer brand


Preferred Candidates Have:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated ability in leading feature development on consumer products from concept and design to planning and go-to-market
  • A finger on the pulse of the consumer app space across categories in education, entertainment, photo/video and social networking
  • A passion for storytelling and innovative, community-driven marketing
  • Experience working alongside a diverse set of stakeholders from product, design and engineering to senior leadership teams – able to communicate vision effectively
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in an environment with ambiguity and change  
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and execution skills
