The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications, Learning & Growth is an essential function as PromoteIQ evolves from a start-up to a mature business. While we navigate the challenges of hyper-growth, it’s imperative that our employees understand who we are, what we do, how we do it, and their role within it. Your primary responsibilities will be twofold -- first, to create a seamless experience for our employees from the time they sign through onboarding and their entire career with PromoteIQ. You will create initial and ongoing employee training and enablement curricula and programs, and generate internal alignment, awareness, and understanding and awareness across all employees in all areas including brand heritage, business strategy and goals, and organizational change initiatives. Secondly, you will expand those curricula and programs for our clients and partners, and enable them to also take advantage of newly streamline communications and collaboration tools, processes when they work with their PIQ teams. 


This is a newly created role for PromoteIQ, and we are seeking a well-rounded leader who can confidently structure, prioritize, and scale our internal communications and employee/client/partner learning via a number of strategies and channels. Successful candidates will leverage their previous experience building like-programs, knowledge of industry best practices and tools, and their ability to confidently sell and engage a vision to cross functional stake holders and executive leadership.  



  • Create a comprehensive strategy for internal communications and L&D that supports overall business strategy and goals 
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of L&D professionals responsible for building capabilities throughout the company and for our clients and partners 
  • Own employee onboarding and continued education for all PIQ employees, with the goal of ensuring consistent employee knowledge of our business, industry, and products, while creating differentiated program offerings for our business and engineering teams. 
  • Identify core business needs and build content and programs to support more effective operations and translate into training materials and playbooks to improve execution across the team. 
  • Build a best-in-class client/partner education program including suggested syllabus for different personas, training webinars/recordings, content marketing, white papers, with the goal of delivering said program leveraging the appropriate tools and platforms to drive consumption. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert to advocate and support effective and rigorous usage of common and/or new processes and tools developed for the wider business to improve internal and external communications and engagements. 
  • Improve upon existing communications channels and develop new, out of the box ways to engage and inform employees across the globe, examples including our Monthly All Hands Meetings and Company Newsletter, including content ideation, messaging and talking points development, and presentation support. 
  • Drive change management communications strategies; assessing key areas to address, identifying internal stakeholders, and drafting clear messaging. 
  • Anticipate and manage complex, unanticipated communication challenges as a thought partner and trusted internal consultant.  


  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of relevant communications experience (in-house and/or agency) in various disciplines, such as internal, organizational, events, crises, and executive communications.
  • Minimum 5 years of Learning and Development or related experience (ex. Training with adult learners in a corporate or similar environment; designing or facilitating workshops for adult learning; facilitation of change management or organizational development initiatives).
  • Strategic thinker who can translate complex concepts to actionable, understandable plans, programs, and materials, but also roll up your sleeves to get the job done, focusing your and company resources on efforts that add significant strategic value and long-term advancement to our overarching L&D and communications goals.
  • Storyteller with strong communication, project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and geographies.
  • Passion for strengthening organizational culture and productivity, and building community within a global, diverse workforce.
  • Advanced writing, editing and presentation skills; ability to convey subtle, technical, or complex messages in writing.



  • 3+ years in a sales organization in a selling, relationship manager, sales enablement, or support role. 
  • 2+ years of direct project management experience and/or certification a plus. 
  • 2+ years of process improvement, strategy, or experience working in a customer success role.
