Our role here in Cloud Marketing is to operate as business leaders for the portfolio of products we drive. In this role, the candidate should have experience and be comfortable leading all aspects of product strategy including establishing targets, feature roadmaps, GTM positioning, sales plays and scorecard metrics, and externally-facing customer and media frameworks and positioning. Our Analytics portfolio is a critical component of our overall Cloud Strategy and consequently will often hold the spotlight at our   Tier 1 conferences and events which this leader and their team will support so they should be comfortable with public speaking and supporting senior executives when they are delivering the narrative. This leader will also engage with our customer advisory board members and key strategic accounts as we move forward on the product lifecycle journey so this candidate should value working closely with customers and effectively capturing their voice in our planning efforts.

If you want to play a leadership role in helping us win the data and analytics market, this is your chance to lead our cloud scale analytics marketing strategy and GTM plans. You will be responsible for leading a team to create compelling narratives, executing product launches, improving the data integrator/data engineering customer journey, and product positioning. The successful candidate will be a results-driven business leader that understands the end-to-end cloud analytics journey and effectively builds programs and Go-To-Market initiatives for data integration workloads. They will also bring a deep level of product understanding of the major platforms available in market today. This role will provide the chance to work on some of our fastest growing products, lead our analytics business strategy, empower customers who are migrating their data and innovating with analytics, data governance and the modern data warehouse. This role will require strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop product strategy, launch new offers across paid, owned, and earned channels, build and land growth plans, and drive business outcomes exceeding business targets and key metrics.

Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a proven leader to work across our engineering, sales, and field teams to drive strategic plans for customer awareness and adoption of products and features, and be accountable for: Promoting products and services to drive revenue growth; leading key product/services moments/activities/releases Maintaining and evangelizing product knowledge and acting as a voice of customer to the press, enthusiasts, influencers, sales (pre-sales and consumption driving), customer and partner scenarios Study customer needs, note business use cases, and drive appropriate customer segmentation Lead the team to develop sales-play focused pitch decks, offer launch materials, and event narratives to accelerate the market momentum Be the primary interface with the team to engage with field, partner and integrated marketing leaders on partner co-marketing and direct marketing plans Field and partner excellence: Pipeline support, sales guidance, seller readiness industry kits Support lead acquisition content strategy and support direct channel effectiveness Drive get-started offers for customers including free and low-cost offerings and incentives Represent marketing in cross-functional teams and forums (e.g., business reviews, annual planning, etc.)

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

10+ years strong product understanding of analytics platforms such as ADW/Synapse/Power BI, SAS, Informatica, Tableau, MicroStrategy, BigQuery, Redshift/Quicksight, Hadoop/Spark, Snowflake.

 

Strong understanding of marketing campaign process; campaign analytics skills 

 

5+ years Proven people manager with excellent leadership skills, a desire to help people do their best work, find their best career path, and supportive of bringing an inclusive perspective to their work

 

Aptitude for crafting business cases after segmenting the right customer demographic groups

 

Ability to track trends in marketplace as far as the latest campaign strategies deployed by other vendors is concerned and translate this into working recommendations

 

Ability to partner well with Sales and Product teams to identify and package compelling real-world customer stories for use in sales and marketing materials

 

Ability to develop and track KPIs for the success of business 

 

Ability to and track marketing KPIs across multiple channels and tactics .
