Job Description:

If so, consider joining the Service Engineering team in the Employee Experience organization of Microsoft Digital.

To be successful in this role, you must have technical breadth and depth in one or more of the Microsoft365 solutions, including the administration of Power Platform line of tools and services, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Viva. The role will have a focus around engineering, administrating solutions that ensure service stability/optimization and supportable/scalable management for the data and collaboration tools that are a part of Microsoft 365. Bring your technical skills in corporate and cloud collaboration, your passion for building scalable and reliable systems, and desire to influence how Enterprise-class services are delivered. Other focus may also include service availability, problem and process management as well as creating automation to support service operations. Key skills and experience include engineering excellence, customer service, project management, enterprise problem solving, and collaborative communications.


Key responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders and fellow administrators to manage the M365 tenant of a global enterprise
  • Provide technical subject-matter expertise in one or more areas of the Microsoft 365 and Office365 services with a focus on one or more of the following, Power Platform, Microsoft Viva, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams
  • Engineer, manage and deliver multiple, independent projects within proposed budget and timelines.
  • Engineer tools and processes to measure and ensure service health
  • Identify and drive service and product improvements that meet the needs of Enterprise customers
  • Leverage data and telemetry to make decisions and driving feedback into systems design and implementation
  • Partner with other teams to improve products and processes to drive delightful end-user experiences
  • Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders, to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users
  • Monitor Live Site of the key business/service metrics in production to ensure a quick response in case issues occur (or preferably before the issues occur) and to ensure the service performs well on the agreed outcomes
  • Contribute to Showcase materials and customer engagements to drive adoption of Microsoft products.




  • 3+ years of experience implementing and/or managing one or more of the Microsoft 365 services with preference given to Power Platform tools such as Power BI
  • BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in enterprise IT service escalation/support management 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills that bridges strategic vision to technical realization
  • Hands on experience with a variety of tools to drive automation and service health improvements including PowerShell


Preferred, not required:


  • Ability to engineer and manage large, complex solutions
  • Experience in enterprise device management across one or more operating systems (Windows, Android, Linux, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting technologies
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Ability to gather and present data to drive decision making and stakeholder buy in
  • Experience with client management technologies such as SCCM/Intune
  • Demonstrated curiosity for new technologies and passion for the user experience
