Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test and document infrastructure for Azure Storage configuration deployments (using C#).
  • Improve existing design and code, find solutions to complex problems in a highly scalable distributed environment.
  • Mentor junior team members, improve our engineering processes, drive adoption of industry best practices.
  • Participate in service live-site, measure, monitor and improve performance & stability of the team’s services.
  • Obsess over providing the best possible experience to our customers, internal and external.
  • Work well with others and be a positive influence on the team.

Qualifications

  • Passion for large scale distributed systems
  • 3+ years of experience in developing with C#/Windows
  • Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming and building scalable, distributed services
  • Excellence in software engineering practices, coding and solid foundation in data structures, algorithms with strong testing, debugging and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software
  • BS+/BE+ in computer science or related fields

 

Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

 

Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with full scope polygraph) clearance.

 

Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements
