The HR Services Data-Next Administration organization provides internal operational and data management support across Microsoft, and is critical to the overall effectiveness of HR and our ability to ensure consistent employee and manager experiences companywide. 


Foundational to HR Digital Transformation is ensuring the high quality and integrity of employee data within a complex ecosystem. You will be responsible for building the right products and services to deliver intended value to modernize Service Center operations. Key to this role is making decisions deeply rooted in customer insights (data-driven) and in understanding overall business goals of Service Centers. In order to do this you will develop high-quality code to meet technical requirements, such as scale, global delivery, and implementation across distributed systems, monitoring, serviceability, testability, debugging and maintenance. 



  • Develop solutions that are complete from a usability, reliability, security, performance, scale, accessibility, maintainability, extensibility and built-with-ops-as-first class aspects for the different components/services/system(s) in Power Platform/Azure or any technology that can be used within Microsoft 
  • Gain understanding of Microsoft businesses and the varied processes along with their outcomes and collaborate with all stakeholders to contribute to a cohesive set of capabilities built to deliver frictionless experience 
  • Define estimates, roadmaps and contribute to with strategy elements – from ideation to articulation to delivery 
  • Provide critical thinking, technical innovation, and attention to detail while serving as a trusted advisor in the organization 
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams and disciplines and drives improvements
  • Problem Solving - The ability to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Systems Thinking - The ability to analyze and recognize how a system's parts interrelate and how sub-systems work over time within the context of larger systems. This includes the ability to view systems with a broad perspective and identify overall structures, patterns, and cycles.
  • User Acceptance Testing - Knowledge of the user acceptance testing phase of development including scenario and test case generation, end-user testing logistics, testing execution, etc.


Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, Math, Engineering or related field. 
  • 6+ years of industry experience designing and developing enterprise scale services & platforms  
  • 2+ years of experience in Power Platform with solid analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills 
  • 1+ years of expertise developing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure Platform or any other cloud platform 
  • 1+ years of hands on experience with SQL or ant DB

  • Great analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills 
  • Solutioning mindset 
  • Experience in a DevOps culture
  • Experience working with Program Management, Business & Audience teams to understand business scenarios and map them to technical architecture & designs 
  • Experience defining and implementing a telemetry strategy to capture business outcomes 
  • Great planning and organizational navigation skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ready to ramp up on new technologies as needed
