This Sr Manager of Marketing and Events people leader role is a unique opportunity to lead an exceptional team that will develop and execute strategic plans and programs that drive hiring goals. Your marketing tactics will engage active and passive job seekers, innovate ways to attract candidates using new and existing channels, evaluate new sourcing methods to increase qualified candidate applications, generate positive brand awareness, build candidate pools and pipeline future talent. .
You will learn and grow in this role as you own the annual roadmap of activities and strategies for recruitment marketing activities with a focus on expanding talent pipelines. You will lead cross business and cross company special projects and initiatives partnering closely with the Employer Value Proposition Team. You will also partner with key stakeholders to drive diversity and inclusion initiatives and with leadership teams to coordinate, develop and execute recruitment marketing events such as job fairs, strategic partner sponsorships that positively position our culture and employment brand to attract top talent. As you analyze the marketplace, you will share your findings with our delivery Team leaders to optimize our resources. This is a flexible work opportunity and you can work from anywhere in the US and across Europe
Responsibilities
Uses data and metrics, and an understanding of the long-term business requirements, to advise a division, set of countries, or subsidiary on the implications of talent gaps. Leads the development of staffing processes and strategies.
Analyze relevant data and trends to provide insight and set plans to meet hiring goals. Connect data to cross-organization goals and leads conversations across groups to address broad hiring issues. Lead the implementation of a hiring plan for complex organizations, areas, or talent pools that addresses both business demand and availability of talent for a division’s, set of countries, or subsidiary’s short-term and long-term needs (12 months and beyond).
Use your deep knowledge of competitor opportunities to differentiate Microsoft’s unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards and leverage a consistent, compelling message that conveys the most significant motivators to prospective candidates.
Develop and Leverage long-term relationships with talent pools and communities. Develop comprehensive approaches that integrate multiple concepts to create innovative sourcing strategies for our various geographies and industries.
Develop and implement strategies to generate and meet targets for differentiated talent in support of our various geographies and industries.
Qualifications
9+ years experience in Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field
OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing Recruitment marketing initiatives
Strong track record of working with agencies, and a diverse set of internal stakeholders across marketing and talent acquisition teams
Strong understanding of how to build scalable inclusive solutions that impact the talent acquisition funnel
