The Global Talent Acquisition Excellence (GTAE) organization creates and maintains the systems Microsoft uses to find, hire, and retain amazingly talented people. GTAE’s Tools & Technology team (TNT) contributes to the all-up mission through support and evolution of Microsoft’s Recruiting Ecosystem.

 

TNT is looking for an experienced Program Manager to drive innovation in our recruiting tools. Leveraging Agile methodologies, you will define, prioritize, and track project deliverables. You will regularly communicate status to stakeholders in terms of progress against plans and publicized OKRs/KPIs. Working with leadership, peer program managers and engineers, you will have the opportunity to deliver significant impact to our business.

Responsibilities

Identifies opportunities to improve the GTA recruiting ecosystem and end user experience

  • Gathers and prioritizes feedback from key stakeholders in partnership with subject matter experts, vendors, and engineering partners.
  • Leads analysis during planning stages of new project proposals and presents results and recommendations to facilitate successful project deliverables/outcomes

 

Implements improvements to the GTA recruiting ecosystem

  • Elicits requirements and defines features
  • Maintains project plans, tracks progress and deliverables
  • Manages risks, issues, and barriers in project execution
  • Partners with engineering to turn requirements into reality.
  • Responsible for business User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, including writing and executing test scenarios and test cases, generating test data, troubleshooting bugs, confirming resolutions, and signing off on the product system readiness for launch.
  • Performs and executes audits and risk assessments and makes recommendations to address risks and non-compliance.

 

Provides clarity and transparency on workstreams

  • Contributes insights in project meetings.
  • Communicates proactively and regularly with relevant stakeholders, project sponsors, steering committee engineering partners about project status and impacts.
  • Ensures release readiness for ecosystem changes is comprehensive, accurate and timely 

Qualifications

7+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Human Resources or related field

  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field.
