Our Partner Solution Engineer team is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our partner ecosystem to help accelerate their knowledge, solution design and integrations with Stripe. This role is responsible for managing all technical partner activities across a specific set of Stripe Technology Partners and will work closely with Stripe’s Partner Development Managers to create comprehensive technical business plans for the partnerships, including identifying, incubating, and bringing to market product integrations/plugins and/or service/solution offerings based on Stripe. This individual is responsible for enabling key technology partners on Stripe, supporting technology integrations, and the certification of 3rd party plugins.

You will:

  • Help technology and consulting partners to rapidly build integrations and plugins 
  • Work with Platform Integrations, Support, and Partner GTM teams to establish best practices, certification guidelines, and the overall process to both support/enable our technology partners as well as enforce the highest quality of integrations and plugins for Stripe users
  • Work closely with technology partners to define the Go to market strategy for their plugin and joint solution
  • Support Stripe Sales in determining the right integration pathway for a prospect or user - plugin, partner solution, or custom integration and develop self-serve enablement content
  • Sales Enablement: Create repository of demo environments / credentials for both Stripe-owned plugins (training, demo narratives, FAQs)
  • Educate the Stripe sales team on Stripe certified Partner plugins and GTM solutions
  • Advocate for the needs of prospects & users across established integration patterns and in prioritizing the roadmap for new integrations
  • Become technical expert on top Technology Platforms (eCommerce, CRM, & ERP) and the integration pathways with Stripe 
  • Engage with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical leads at key partners to share technology roadmaps and demonstrate the latest innovations, defining a path to expanding partnerships further
  • Influence product direction and priorities

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience, with a strong technical background
  • Experience working with customers and/or partners in a customer facing solution development role
  • Experience building integrations to and implementing financial billing, reporting, ERP, CRM, and eCommerce systems
  • Experience with code-level debugging (Stripe code and customer code) with large enterprise customers
  • 2+ years of production-level software developer experience with fluency in at least 2 programming languages
  • An empathetic, collaborative, communicative, and consultative work style
  • Experience supporting large enterprise customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and dive into helping our users and partners with their technical issues
  • Be comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how they work, both from a product feature and API architecture perspective
  • Ability to travel
