Job Description

Reporting to the Human Resources Operations Manager, the HR Coordinator provides ongoing support to our Distribution Center team in the areas of employee relations and inquiries, as well as support with payroll, time & attendance and benefit administration. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Operations and Payroll Teams to manage the efficient and accurate delivery of HR services to internal clients. 


  • Maintain all employee-related records and data in the HR system (ADP) as well as other HR platforms
  • Manage the creation and termination of employees in HR system
  • Participate in ongoing frontline HR support, responding to questions, queries and other employee-related matters
  • Act as the main resource in the management of the HR ticketing request system, responding to employees in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of Time & Attendance and Payroll related data on an ongoing basis
  • Provide assistance in the administration of employee’s group benefits
  • Coordinate and administer employee parental leaves 
  • Produce employment confirmation letters and other letters and reports as needed
  • Coordinate the onboarding experience for our seasonal and permanent hires and onboarding presentations
  • Deliver certain trainings and presentations to employees and managers
  • Assist with immigration-related tasks, including tracking work visa expiry
  • Coordinate and draft contract extension letters and end of contract letters for seasonal employees
  • Identify and implement areas for continuous improvement in HR processes, policies, and tools 
  • Work on ad hoc HR-related tasks, assignments, and analysis as needed
  • Contribute to special projects as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a relevant field
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHA) designation, an asset
  • 1-3 years experience in a Human Resources role 
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS or Payroll System (ADP, Cerian, Workday, etc.)
  • Prior experience in the retail, operations, or warehousing industry, supporting an hourly employee population
  • Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations governing employment and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), knowledge of Google Drive an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
