Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness, the Talent Management Advisor plays a key role in fostering a culture that emphasizes the ongoing development of a high-performing and highly engaged workforce, while actively supporting discussions and transferring best practices throughout the organization. They will support the team’s objective to develop and deploy a global talent management strategy. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with outstanding communication skills and strong business acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide talent management expertise for a number of strategic mandates supporting the business transformation plan
  • Contribute to the development of a global people strategy, understanding its requirements and identifying trends and/or risks
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of talent-related programs in collaboration with business stakeholders (i.e. performance management, goal management, competency frameworks, succession management, leadership talent review, etc.)
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, the Center of excellence, and the business to develop integrated and business-focused talent solutions
  • Develop change management plans to support the business in transitioning to new standardized processes
  • Actively oversee and manage the completion of succession plans for senior leadership roles and critical roles, closing succession gaps and recommending action plans to mitigate associated risks, in collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Ensure the good functioning of global talent management processes and propose improvements
  • Partner with the HR team to build metrics that will assess and monitor the effectiveness of talent management initiatives
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and current market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or Business Administration
  • MBA or Master’s Degree, an asset
  • CHRA title, an asset
  • 3 to 5 years experience as an HR Advisor, or a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
